Lenten Midweek Worship Opportunities
Our mid-week Lenten soup suppers and worship services begin this week.  Take a break out of your busy schedule and return to the Lord for one evening a week as we worship and begin to examine the Prayers of the Passion – accounts of the events leading up to Christ’s crucifixion as seen through the eyes of various biblical characters.
Our mid-week Lenten schedule is as follows:
            March 10th -- Midweek: 6pm – Soup; 7pm – worship @ Messiah
            March 17th – Midweek: 6pm – Soup; 7pm – worship @ Mt. Calvary (Lavansville)
            March 24th -- Midweek: 6pm – Soup; 7pm – worship @ Samuel’s

Our theme for the mid-week Lenten services is the Prayers of the Passion.  Join us as we hear from various biblical characters as they recount their experience of watching Jesus journey to the cross.  We will hear from such characters as Sarah & Leah, Herod & Pilate, Simon & Miriam, and Deborah & Deliah.

Pancakes – REDUX
Although we canceled our pancake supper for Shrove Tuesday, we plan to hold a Pancake Brunch after worship on Sunday, March 21st.  Keep the date, hold on to your appetite, and hopefully the weather will cooperate to allow us to have a time of fellowship, food, and fun.
