What type of service can I expect at the NCLP churches?
Our services are what we call a "traditional" Sunday morning chuch service. We worship using both the Lutheran Book of Worship and the With One Voice hymnals.
Does each church have a different worship service?
Each of the churches in our congregation follow the same bulliten every week. Though there may be a few variations to the services depending on the church, all three services each week will have the same lessons and hymns.
What time are the services?
Our Sunday worship services begin at St. Paul's at 8:30am, at Samuel's at 9:30am and Messiah's worship begins at 10:45am.
Do you have communion every Sunday?
Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays of the month, as well as all festival days (like Christmas Eve, Easter, Pentecost, etc.).
Can anyone participate in communion?
All who are baptized and believe in the real presence of Jesus Christ are welcome at the Lord's Supper.
Parents are welcome to decide when their own children are ready to recieve communion or may receive a blessing. First communion classes* are offered for children (grades 1-5) to provide further instruction and better understanding of this holy sacrament.
