Pastor Will Osman

   Our pastor recieved his pastoral training and his Master of Divinity in 2002 from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH. He answered God's call to come serve our parish in the summer of 2002. He feels gifted by God in the areas of preaching, youth ministry, and worship drama (although there is always room for improvement in all aspects of life, spiritual and otherwise).

   Although he was born in Tampa, FL, he considers himself a son of Pennsylvania, as his mother is a native of Dalton, PA (in the Northeast) and he is also a proud alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University (Class of 1991 - Go State!). He is also a military brat, the son of a career officer in the United States Air Force. He is well traveled having lived up and down the east Coast and even spending time in Martin Luther's country of birth (Germany). Prior to the ministry, he spent seven years working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, DC. He likes to say he put down his badge for a Bible.

   He is a part of a clergy couple. His wife, Pastor Elisa Osman, is a native of Chicago, Illinois and serves the Lavansville-Bakersville Lutheran Parish just down the road from us. She is a vital part of his ministry and a source of inspiration to him.
